If so, we’ve got the job for you.

Networking and innovative ideas

As Press Officer, the MSF media coverage of humanitarian crisis is your responsibility. You have excellent knowledge of the Danish media and political arena; and, by using your network and expanding it, you will set the agenda ensuring the interest of the media in our patients’ situation and our work in treating our patients. You take pride in delivering high quality communication and think strategically and cross medially both in terms of messages, timing – and pushing forward the spirit and compliance of MSF policies.

International interest and collaborative approach

Working in an international organization such as MSF requires a strong interest in what is happening worldwide – most likely in humanitarian sector too. You will be in contact with many actors both nationally and internationally, and when humanitarian emergency occurs we need you to stay cool.

MSF Denmark has many cross functional projects linked to specific campaigns and branding, and we expect you to be engaged and contribute to them with an open-minded and in a collaborative way. In return, you have a job with 100% humanitarian meaning that brings a dynamic and varied working day.

You in the communications team

You are driven by results, quality and committed to the MSF humanitarian principles and values. You thrive in an international and multicultural environment, and you are fluent in English and Danish. French is an asset.

The team is on call 24/7 for media requests that MSF should react on, and you report to the Communications Director.

A communications profile with news media background

You have an academic degree in communication or journalism and at least 3-5 years of experience from a news media. Furthermore, you thrive with creating new relations and have great networking competencies. You have documented experience with successful communications initiatives, both digital and analogue, understanding the importance of being innovative and creative in a constant changing landscape.
